ARC Animal Rescue Centre reg 278696 have been rescueing and rehoming domestic
animals since 1972.
All prospective adopters will be homechecked prior to any adoption and we
also carry out post adoption checks.
Should any adopter for any reasons no longer be able to keep an
animal adopted from ARC the animal must be returned into our care. All animals
within our care visit our vet and are given any required treatments. Any long
term ailments will be discussed with the adopters on an individual basis. We carry out neutering prior to adoption wherever possible however if for any
reason this cannot be done ie puppies we will expect that the animal will
be neutered at the earliest opportunity. We will expect that regular routine
vaccinations worming and flea treatments will be given and that
any other medical needs will be tended to by an appropriate proffessional
veterinary surgeon. We also insist that any animals which have been adopted are
exercised and groomed regularly appropiately according to breed and type.
ARC are a registered charity who operate a non destruct policy, as well as
prospective adopters we are always pleased to hear from people who would like to
offer help with walking the dogs or with our fundraising efforts.
If you do not see the dog you are looking for listed please contact us as our
