Lemmie | Moggy

Misty | Staffordshire Bull Terrrier

Misty is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier around a year old and an absolute poppet.  She’s an affectionate, excitable and loveable girl.  She came into our care with mange and it’s taken from February to get her looking healthy.  She’s been with us for so long with no interest we’ve moved her to our busier RSPCA Chesterfield branch where their increased number of visitors will hopefully find her a home quicker.

Ariel | Lop Medium

Ariel is an unclaimed stray from Welton.  She's very busy nest building at the moment (and very proud of her nest) so there is a distinct possibility she is expecting.  We are hoping this is a phantom pregnancy and monitoring her accordingly.  We won't rehome until we are confident there isn't babies due  . . . or until she has them and they are weaned.  She can be reserved in the meantime.

Betty | Harlequin

Tyke | Boxer

Tyke is a beautiful four year old Boxer cross.  He was very thin when he arrived in our care but now gaining weight nicely and ready to go to a new home.  Tyke is good with other dogs and came into us with a much older dog (who has been rehomed leaving Tyke on his own for probably the first time in his life).  He knows basic commands, he can do sit and paw . . . although he gets so excited you often get two paws!  Tyke is affectionate and adorable.  He's been in kennels a while now whilst we've got weight on him.  Hopefully we can find him a home quickly.

Rollo | Jack Russell Terrier

Rollo, Jack Russell Terrier X, DOB 2009 - Gatwick, West Sussex

Homing Requirements: Rollo deserves to be owned by a family who really get terriers and delight in his antics. He needs a secure terrier-proof garden and a family who are aware that front doors and garden gates are never left open as 'there is a terrier in the house'! Rollo has always been an only dog and we feel he would prefer to remain so.

His Story: Rollo grew up in a family with older children. He is neutered and vax'd. He gets excited meeting other dogs and his family didn't have the confidence to offer him to settle, so preferred not to walk him and surrendered him for that reason.  Rollo is neutered, chipped and receiving vaccinations. Rollo is in kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.

Advert:  Rollo is a dear and very attractive terrier. He is easy to handle and is affectionate to attention. Rollo enjoys the extent of an extender lead and is meeting dogs well given reassurance and scope to say 'hello'. He is busy and explorative which will have his terrier owners entertained indeed. He doesn't have reliable recall and his socialisation skills are rusty but will develop with opportunity and keeping him moving and parallel walking with friends.

Rollo is a 4 year old tri-coloured Jack Russell type terrier. Small in stature he stands to about 13-14" to the shoulder. He is in very good health. Rollo embraces life and would so enjoy an active life style. Rollo will soon meet his family we are sure - he is such a 'catch'!

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.

Tasker | Rottie Cross
